Lancaster County Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges, PA State Police Say

A Lancaster County man has been charged in connection with a child pornography investigation, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police.

David Henry Bowersox Jr., 60, of Columbia, was charged on Friday, according to the release and court documents.

State Police conducted a warranted search of his home in the 800 block of Chestnut Street on Oct. 19 at 7 a.m., police say.

Findings by the PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Central Computer Crime Task Force led to Bowersox's arrest, according to the release.

Bowersox was charged with the following, according to his court docket:

  • F2 Disseminating Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts
  • F2 Child Pornography
  • F3 Child Pornography (2 Counts)
  • F3 Criminal Use Of Communication Facility (2 Count)

He was briefly held and released on $150,000 in bail according to police and court documents.

His preliminary hearing has been scheduled with Magisterial District Judge Miles K. Bixler on Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m., according to court documents.
